PSPW Offline

This App introduces the Professional Standards for Protection Work. The standards capture a set of common professional ethics that aim to make humanitarian and human rights protection work safer and more effective. They define a baseline to guarantee a high level of professionalism in the interest of both the affected civilian populations and the community of protection actors.

This App is designed to allow humanitarian and human rights professionals and organizations implementing dedicated protection work in armed conflict and other situations of violence. It is also a useful reference point for other actors and stakeholders to understand the principles protection actors observe in order to safely implement activities to enhance the protection of individuals and communities.

To respond to the realities of working in the field, the app is available in two versions. In this offline version, all the content (publication and e-learning) is downloaded to the device and hence accessible offline - you do not need internet connection to view it. If you wish to download the lighter app, with which the Standards are still accessible offline but an internet connection is required to view the e-learning modules, please search for “PSPW Online”.
